If you’ve walked through Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa recently, you’ve probably noticed the transformation happening right before your eyes. And now, the next piece of the puzzle has landed — the new lobby bar officially has a name: The Perch. And, we got our list look at the new Grand Floridian lobby bar menu.

The Perch was first revealed through the official Disney Eats Instagram account, which also listed a November 10, 2025 opening date. That post has since been removed, but the opening date later confirmed by Disney — one thing’s for sure: the excitement around this new space is real.

A Fresh Look for a Disney Classic

The Perch draws its inspiration straight from one of the Grand Floridian’s most recognizable lobby details — the elegant birdcage that hangs above the main atrium. Disney Imagineering has leaned into that imagery to create a bar space filled with detailed woodwork, brass accents, and vibrant stained glass showcasing bird motifs.

It’s the kind of detail Disney fans love — subtle, story-driven, and perfectly in tune with the Grand Floridian’s old-meets-new refresh. The Perch is part of the resort’s multi-year enhancement project, joining the list of reimagined guest rooms, dining spaces, and public areas that give the Grand Floridian its renewed sparkle.

The Perch Menu

With the name reveal came something fans didn’t expect — the complete menu. Here’s your first full look at what to expect when The Perch officially opens.

Cocktails

  • Floridian 75 – Fords Gin, Florida Citrus Cordial, and Lemon topped with Taittinger ‘La Française’ Brut Champagne – $22.00
  • Sunshine State Rum Sazerac – Siesta Key Coffee Rum, Demerara, Absinthe Rinse, Peychaud’s Bitters, and Lemon Essence – $17.50

These two signature cocktails perfectly match the resort’s vibe — sophisticated yet approachable. The Floridian 75 feels like a sunshine-filled twist on a French 75, while the Rum Sazerac highlights local Florida ingredients.

Wine

  • Taittinger ‘La Française’ Brut, Champagne, France – $32.00 / $126.00
  • Raventós i Blanc ‘de Nit’ Rosé, Penedès, Spain – $16.00 / $62.00
  • La Fête du Rosé, Côtes de Provence, France – $16.00 / $62.00
  • Trimbach Riesling, Alsace, France – $14.00 / $56.00
  • Jules Taylor Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, New Zealand – $20.00 / $79.00
  • Crossbarn by Paul Hobbs Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast, California – $20.00 / $79.00
  • Bodegas Chacra ‘Barda’ Pinot Noir, Patagonia, Argentina – $20.00 / $79.00
  • Tablas Creek Vineyard ‘Patelin de Tablas’ Rouge, Paso Robles, California – $20.00 / $79.00
  • Schweiger Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, California – $29.00 / $115.00

Disney has packed this list with familiar favorites and global selections — from French Champagne to bold California reds. For a resort that celebrates timeless luxury, this wine lineup fits perfectly.

Beer

  • 3 Daughters Beach Blonde Ale, St. Petersburg, Florida – $11.75
  • Funky Buddha Floridian Hefeweizen, Oakland Park, Florida – $11.75
  • Cigar City Jai Alai IPA, Tampa, Florida – $11.75

Local Florida breweries make up the entire beer list, a clear nod to supporting nearby favorites. If you’ve ever had a cold Jai Alai on a sunny Disney afternoon, you know this is a solid move.

Non-Alcoholic Beverage

  • Blueberry and Basil Iced Tea$8.00

Even the non-alcoholic option sounds refreshing. This one’s for anyone looking to sip something light and flavorful without the buzz.

Why This Addition Matters

The Perch isn’t just another Disney bar — it’s a symbol of how Disney is rethinking the Grand Floridian experience. This resort has always been about elegance and tradition, but now it’s layering in warmth, color, and approachability. The Perch represents that shift perfectly: a space that feels classic but alive, rich with story and detail.

For longtime Disney fans (like me), seeing the Grand Floridian evolve like this is exciting. It’s still the flagship resort we fell in love with decades ago, but it’s adapting for a new generation of guests who love Disney storytelling as much as they love a well-crafted drink.

Final Thoughts

The Perch will soon become the new gathering place for guests who want to relax, reconnect, and enjoy a cocktail that feels uniquely Floridian. Whether you’re staying at the Grand Floridian or just visiting for the evening, this spot will likely become a must-visit stop before dinner or fireworks.

As Disney fans know, it’s the little details that make the magic — and The Perch looks ready to deliver that magic one drink at a time.
