Hey Disney Vacationers! Disney has revealed the complete character lineup for Jollywood Nights 2025 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and this year’s event takes things up a notch. It’s the kind of lineup that makes you want to clear your camera roll before you even step inside the park. From Pixar favorites to Star Wars icons, Jollywood Nights is shaping up to be one of the most character-packed holiday events Disney’s ever done.
If you’re a character meet-and-greet fan, you’re going to love this. Let’s break down exactly who you can meet, what’s new for 2025, and a few pro tips to help you make the most of your night.
What is Jollywood Nights?
Jollywood Nights is Disney’s Hollywood-glam take on the holidays—a separately ticketed event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios filled with live music, themed entertainment, and yes, exclusive character meet-and-greets you won’t find anywhere else.
Think of it like the elegant sibling to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Instead of Main Street snowfalls and cookies, you get glitzy red carpets, jazz-filled lounges, and a touch of old Hollywood sparkle wrapped in Christmas lights.

New Characters at Jollywood Nights in 2025
This year, Disney is adding several new faces to the mix, giving fans even more reasons to show up early.
- Chewbacca – making his Jollywood Nights debut in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
- Partysaurus Rex – bringing big Toy Story energy to Toy Story Land.
- Bing Bong (Inside Out) – greeting guests near Grand Avenue.
- Miguel (Coco) – joining the Holiday Fiesta en la Calle celebration near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith.
Each of these additions expands the event’s lineup beyond the returning favorites and adds a nice mix of Pixar, Star Wars, and Disney Animation representation.

Returning Characters in 2025
Disney is also bringing back many of the fan-favorite meet-and-greets from last year’s event. If you missed them in 2024, this is your chance to finally grab that photo.

- José Carioca or Panchito (The Three Caballeros) – near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster

Pro Tips for Character Meet and Greets
If you’re planning to meet as many characters as possible during Jollywood Nights, here’s what I’ve learned from years of chasing character photos across Disney events:
- Arrive early. Guests with event tickets are typically allowed in before the official start time—use that head start to position yourself near your must-meet character, about 30 minutes prior to the start of the event.
- Prioritize rare characters first. Powerline Max, Partrysaurus Rex, Miguel, etc, that will have the longest lines. Knock those out early.
- Expect character swaps. Some pairs (like José and Panchito or Baloo and King Louie) alternate, so if one’s missing, check back later.
- Use PhotoPass. Every character spot typically has a Disney PhotoPass photographer, so link your MagicBand or ticket to save time and get high-quality photos.
- Bring your patience and holiday spirit. The lines can be long—but the interactions are always worth it.
Real Talk — Is Jollywood Nights Worth It for Character Lovers?
If you love rare characters, Jollywood Nights is a yes. Between the mix of Pixar debuts, the Star Wars additions, and the return of Powerline Max, Disney’s proving this event isn’t just about glam—it’s about giving fans the kind of meet-and-greets they’ll talk about for years.
The atmosphere at Disney’s Hollywood Studios during Jollywood Nights is unmatched. It’s sleek, jazzy, and festive without feeling crowded or rushed. And while the ticket price might sting a bit, the exclusivity makes it one of the best ways to experience the park during the holidays.
Tickets for Jollywood Nights 2025 are available now for select nights between November 8 and December 22, with prices ranging from $159 to $199 depending on the date. Tickets are available through your Disney Vacation Planner or Disney’s website.
