This isn’t just any coaster. It will be the fastest ride in the Universal Destinations & Experiences portfolio—topping out at 72 MPH. That’s faster than Jurassic World VelociCoaster and rivals some of the top thrill rides in the country.

This coaster won’t just go fast—it will spin while doing it.

Each ride vehicle will feature 360-degree rotation. This means as you’re flying down the track, you’ll also drift and spin, simulating the street racing action that made the Fast & Furious films legendary.

You’ll launch from an expansive garage-themed queue, then take off in vehicles modeled after the series’ most iconic cars—like Dominic Toretto’s 1970 Dodge Charger. Universal is making sure you feel like you’re right in the middle of a Fast family showdown.

One of the wildest parts? The Hollywood Drift coaster track will run above the park’s Upper and Lower Lots, even crossing over the park’s famous multi-level escalator. This ride is as much a skyline-changer as it is a new attraction.
