New Star Wars Lightsabers Reclaimed and Reforged Coming to Savi’s Workshop at Hollywood Studios

Hey Disney Vacationers! Disney’s Hollywood Studios is introducing a new experience at Savi’s Workshop— New Star Wars Lightsabers Reclaimed and Reforged. Set to debut on May 4th, 2025, this update brings an exciting twist to the iconic lightsaber-building experience in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Build a Lightsaber with a Story

The Reclaimed and Reforged theme allows guests to construct lightsabers using salvaged scraps with deep history. These materials come from weapons once wielded by Jedi knights and Sith lords, now scattered across the galaxy, repurposed by smugglers and bounty hunters.

Key Details:

• Cost: $249.99 per lightsaber (plus tax)
• Payment: Full payment required at booking
• Restrictions: One lightsaber per builder. Each builder may bring one guest, but the guest cannot build.
• Age Requirement: Builders must be at least 5 years old, and at least one participant must be 14+.
• Inclusions: Each lightsaber comes with a carrying case. Additional customization options are available for purchase at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities.
• Refund Policy: Custom lightsabers are nonrefundable and not eligible for Annual Passholder or other discounts.

What is Savi’s Workshop?

Savi’s Workshop is a secretive lightsaber-building experience hidden within Black Spire Outpost. Guided by a group known as the Gatherers, builders will piece together their own one-of-a-kind weapon infused with the power of a kyber crystal. The First Order must not discover this hidden operation!

The Lightsaber Assembly Process:

1. Choose a Kyber Crystal – Available colors: red, blue, green, or violet.
2. Assemble the Hilt – Builders receive a set of parts to create a unique design:
   • 1 Hilt
   • 4 Sleeves (choose 2)
   • 2 Emitters (choose 1)
   • 2 Pommel Caps (choose 1)
   • 2 Sets of Activation Plates & Switches (choose 1 set)
3. Final Assembly – Gatherers help attach the 31-inch blade, completing the lightsaber for galactic adventures!

All unused parts are returned to Savi’s inventory and are not included in the final package.
