Prices are out. The Christmastime fireworks dessert party returns for 2026 with two options, and the gap between them is $25 per adult. One gets you a reserved seat. The other gets you a prime standing spot in the Plaza Garden.
Both include the same dessert buffet at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant, and both run on Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party nights. Which one is worth your money depends entirely on your party size and how much standing you want to do at the end of a long park day.
Here is the full pricing breakdown, every available date, and the booking rules worth reading before you commit. Reservations opened today for Disney Resort hotel guests.
Quick Summary
- Two dessert party options return for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2026
- Reserved seating at Tomorrowland Terrace costs $129 per adult, $74 per child
- Plaza Garden standing viewing costs $104 per adult, $59 per child
- Tax is not included in either price
- A separate Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party ticket is required and not included
- Resort guests can book now; everyone else books starting September 9, 2026
Option 1: Reserved Seating at Tomorrowland Terrace
This version includes a buffet of desserts at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant plus reserved seating for Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks.
Pricing:
- Adults (ages 10 and up): $129
- Children (ages 3 to 9): $74
- Tax not included
You get a seat. That is the whole pitch, and after a full day in the parks it is a stronger pitch than it sounds.
Option 2: Plaza Garden Viewing
This version includes the same dessert buffet at Tomorrowland Terrace, but swaps reserved seating for a prime standing viewing area in the Plaza Garden.
Pricing:
- Adults (ages 10 and up): $104
- Children (ages 3 to 9): $59
- Tax not included
You save $25 per adult and $15 per child. For a family of two adults and two kids, that is $326 versus $406 before tax — an $80 difference.
Which One Should You Book
Here is the honest breakdown.
Take the Plaza Garden option if your group is all adults, everyone is comfortable standing for the length of a fireworks show, and you would rather put that $80 toward something else. The viewing area is still a premium spot.
Take reserved seating if you have young kids, anyone in your group has trouble standing for long stretches, or you are booking a late-December date when the parks are at their most crowded. Guaranteed seating at the end of a 12-hour park day is worth more than most people expect going in.
Skip both if you are not already committed to the party. Neither option includes a party ticket, and the combined cost adds up fast.
Every 2026 Dessert Party Date
Both dessert parties run on the same nights as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which operates from 7pm to midnight.
November: 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 24, 25, 27, 29
December: 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22
Early November dates are typically the least crowded of the season. December dates closer to the holiday draw the largest crowds and book out earliest.
Booking Rules You Need to Know
This is the section people skip and then regret.
A party ticket is required. You need a valid Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party ticket for the same night. It is not included in the dessert party price and must be purchased separately.
Check-in happens at Tomorrowland Terrace. You check in at the restaurant entrance, where you receive identification credentials. You have to present those to get in.
The cancellation policy is strict. A 24-hour cancellation policy applies. Cancel inside that window or fail to show up, and you are charged the full price.
You cannot modify a confirmed reservation. Once it is booked, it is locked. Get your date and party size right the first time.
Weather does not get you a refund. If the fireworks are delayed or cancelled, the dessert party still happens as scheduled.
No discounts stack. These offers cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions. Menu items and entertainment are subject to change.
When You Can Book
Reservations opened today, September 3, 2026, for Disney Resort hotel guests. Resort guests can book up to 60 days in advance of arrival, covering the entire length of a stay up to 10 nights.
Everyone else books starting September 9, 2026.
That six-day head start matters here more than it does for regular dining. The dessert party has limited capacity per night, and popular dates thin out quickly once general booking opens.
The Bottom Line
The 2026 Christmastime fireworks dessert party comes down to a simple question: is a guaranteed seat worth $25 per adult? For families with young kids and anyone visiting on a busy December night, the answer is usually yes. For a group of adults on an early November date, the Plaza Garden option gets you the same desserts and a premium view for meaningfully less.
Book now if you are staying on property. Have your date, party size, and option picked before September 9 if you are not.
And do not forget the party ticket. It is the single most common thing people miss when budgeting this experience, and without it your dessert party reservation does you no good.
