Disney Vacation Club Hoop Dee Holiday

Hey Disney Vacationers! If you’re a Disney Vacation Club Member, you probably already know that December at Walt Disney World hits different. And in 2025, one of the newer DVC traditions is back: the Disney Vacation Club Hoop Dee Holiday at Fort Wilderness.

This isn’t just dinner and a show. It’s part exclusive Member event, part holiday tradition, and part down-home Christmas party. And if you’ve never been, let me walk you through exactly what makes this a can’t-miss DVC perk.

Disney Vacation Club Hoop Dee Holiday

A Little History

The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue has been a staple at Pioneer Hall in Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground for decades. In recent years, Disney Vacation Club has added an exclusive holiday twist for Members: the Hoop Dee Holiday.

This version includes everything you love about the regular show—comedy, music, and that legendary all-you-care-to-enjoy feast—but with seasonal extras. Past years have included a themed pre-show, holiday décor, and a keepsake souvenir just for Members.

In 2024, for example, Members went home with a metal snowflake ornament featuring the Mickey DVC logo and icons for every DVC resort. It came in a soft case and quickly became a collector’s item.

What’s New for 2025

For 2025, Disney has confirmed the event is back with all the Member-exclusive perks you’d expect:

  • A holiday-themed comedy and music show with the Pioneer Hall Players
  • A full Hoop-Dee-Doo feast
  • A keepsake souvenir (different from 2024 — Disney hasn’t revealed it yet, but expect another collectible piece)
  • An exclusive Member pre-show experience

Pricing for 2025 is just $5 higher than regular Hoop-Dee-Doo shows, making it a great value when you factor in the extras.

Event Dates and Times

  • Tuesday, December 9, 2025
  • Tuesday, December 16, 2025
  • Showtimes: 4:00 PM and 6:15 PM (doors open at these times, show begins 20 minutes later)

👉 Pro tip: plan to arrive 30 minutes early to check in and enjoy the pre-show without feeling rushed.

Location

  • Pioneer Hall, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground

And let’s be honest—just being at Fort Wilderness in December is an experience. Guests go all out with campsite decorations, from inflatable Disney characters to twinkling lights strung between RVs. It’s worth carving out time to walk or even rent a golf cart to explore.

Menu Highlights

Here’s what you can expect at the feast (all-you-care-to-enjoy):

  • Starters: Tossed Mixed Greens, Fresh-baked Cornbread, Creamy Coleslaw
  • Mains: Fried Chicken, Smoked BBQ Pork Ribs, Mac & Cheese, Cowboy Beans
  • Dessert: Strawberry Shortcake (yes, it’s as good as it sounds)
  • Beverages: Unlimited Draft Beer, Wine, Sangria (21+ with ID) and soft drinks

It’s especially fun for kids who enjoy silly comedy, music, and being part of an interactive crowd.

Transportation Tips

Getting to Pioneer Hall can take longer than you think, especially during the holidays:

  • Resort Transportation: No direct buses from most resorts. Expect multiple transfers.
  • Personal Vehicle: Park at Fort Wilderness and use internal buses (allow 30 minutes).
  • Watercraft from Magic Kingdom: Allow up to 90 minutes for travel and transfers.
  • Ride Share/Minnie Van: The easiest, though not always the cheapest, option.

If you’re going to explore the holiday campsite displays, budget extra time before or after the show.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancel at least 48 hours in advance to avoid losing the full cost.
  • Dates, times, and event details are always subject to change.

Final Thoughts

The 2025 Disney Vacation Club Hoop Dee Holiday is more than dinner and a show—it’s becoming a Disney holiday tradition that mixes exclusive Member perks with the best of Fort Wilderness. From the comedy and music to the collectible keepsake and holiday atmosphere, this event is one of the best ways for DVC Members to celebrate the season.

If you’re eligible, I’d say book it as soon as reservations open. Not only will you get a festive night of entertainment, but you’ll also make memories that will last forever.
