2025 Destination D23 Schedule: Overview of Everything Happening

Hey Disney Vacationers! If you’re anything like me, Destination D23 is the event you circle on your calendar the second it’s announced. And now, Disney has officially dropped the overview of the 2025 Destination D23 schedule — giving us a first look at how this epic, fan-filled weekend is going to play out.

Whether you scored a ticket (lucky!) or just want to follow along from home, here’s everything we know so far — with all the key dates, times, events, and experiences you should keep on your radar.

📍 When and Where Is Destination D23 2025?

• Dates: August 29–31, 2025
• Location: Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Walt Disney World

This three-day event is packed with exclusive presentations, limited-edition shopping, Disney Parks reveals, behind-the-scenes panels, and nighttime entertainment just for D23 Members.

Friday, August 29

• 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

This is your prep day. While no formal presentations are scheduled, it’s a great time to grab your gear, explore the merchandise area, and connect with other fans.

Saturday, August 30

Special Highlight: Kuzcotopia Night

Boom, baby! All Destination D23 attendees are invited to celebrate 25 years of The Emperor’s New Groove at Kuzcotopia Night at Typhoon Lagoon — an after-hours party just for ticket holders.

Finale Event: Disney ’80s–’90s Celebration in Concert

Presented by Disney+, this throwback concert wraps up the weekend in true Disney style. You can expect:

• Showstopping live performances
• Broadway and Disney Animation stars
• Songs from Hercules, A Goofy Movie, Toy Story, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Mulan, and more
• Rock-concert-style lighting and projection
• A full-on nostalgia overload from The Disney Afternoon era

This one-night-only event is produced in partnership with Disney Concerts and 10th & Main Productions, and it’s only for Destination D23 attendees.

  Go on a global journey through Disney history, including a special tribute to The Three Caballeros for its 80th anniversary.
• Deep Dives into Disney History
  Learn little-known facts and wild stories from the Archives — things even die-hard fans might not know.
• Legendary Guest Speakers
  Disney Legends, filmmakers, Imagineers, and historians will appear on stage throughout the weekend.

Tickets Already Sold Out

Just like in past years, tickets sold out fast when they went live in April. At this time, there’s no waitlist or announced resale system, and Disney hasn’t confirmed whether any sessions will be livestreamed.

However, if history is any indication, major news from the event will be shared publicly by Disney through the Disney Parks Blog, D23 social channels, and select press outlets shortly after panels conclude.

Could not have wanted or expected more from Nate, our Distrips and More agent as we planned our 2025 Disney World trip.
